Tammy Zaino has been an integral part of the veterinary field for over eight years, serving as the Lead Receptionist at her clinic. With a background in client communications across diverse fields—including human healthcare and education—Tammy brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her role. Her primary responsibilities include greeting clients and their pets, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining detailed records to ensure seamless care.
Tammy is passionate about creating positive experiences for both pets and their owners. Her approach focuses on active listening and personalized attention, ensuring every client feels confident their needs are being met. She particularly enjoys connecting with clients and their pets, forging lasting relationships built on trust and empathy.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband, her stepchildren, and their many pets, including sugar gliders, hamsters, cats, dogs, a water dragon, and snakes. She also loves relaxing with her cats, exploring herbal remedies to promote healthy living for her family, and staying active with outdoor adventures.
Her journey into veterinary medicine was inspired by a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. After leaving a demanding role in human healthcare, Tammy sought a career that aligned with her passion, finding joy and fulfillment in caring for animals and their families.

With 13 years of experience in the veterinary field, Hunter Oestreich has dedicated her career to providing exceptional patient care and client education. As a Veterinary Technician, she takes pride in helping pets feel better and ensuring owners leave feeling confident and knowledgeable about their pet’s health and well-being.
Hunter’s approach to veterinary care is rooted in compassion and dedication. She strives to make every client feel as though their pet is cared for as if it were her own, prioritizing the health and happiness of each animal she works with.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her chickens and goats. A fun fact about Hunter: she has raised and owned goats for over 15 years, showcasing her lifelong connection to animals and her deep understanding of their needs.

Caitlin Marie Bush – Certified Veterinary Assistant II
Caitlin Marie Bush has been passionate about veterinary care for as long as she can remember. With nearly a decade of experience in the veterinary field (since 2015, even during college), she joined her current clinic in October 2021 and serves as a Certified Veterinary Assistant Level II through TVMA. Caitlin’s dedication to maintaining her skills is evident as she completes 30 hours of continuing education annually.
In her role, Caitlin is committed to patient care and building strong client relationships. Her responsibilities include educating clients, assisting in surgeries, drawing blood, taking x-rays, and managing special testing. She thrives on providing genuine care to her patients and loves making every visit smooth and respectful. Caitlin’s approach emphasizes ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and confident that their pets are in caring, capable hands.
Outside the clinic, Caitlin’s interests reflect her adventurous spirit. She is a private pilot, enjoys flying, creating art (such as woodburnings), hiking, spending time outdoors, and finding new hobbies to share with friends and family.
From a young age, Caitlin knew veterinary medicine was her calling. She feels deeply fulfilled by her work and strives to inspire trust and comfort in both pets and their owners. For Caitlin, giving up is never an option, and her passion for animals and people drives her to deliver exceptional care every day.

Mia Zaino-Veterinary Technician/ Surgery Technician has been dedicated to the veterinary field for over three years, specializing as a Surgery Technician at her clinic. Her primary responsibilities include running surgery mornings, managing anesthesia, and providing expert care in surgery and wound management. She has a passion for working with fear-aggressive patients, finding individualized approaches to ensure their health and safety while maintaining a comforting experience for both the patient and their owner.
Mia is Fear Free Certified and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and providing the best possible care. She strives to make clients feel educated, comforted, and supported by offering tailored solutions that work best for the pet at an affordable cost.
Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and sharing quality moments with her family and friends. A fun fact about Mia: she was an All-American UJJ State Wrestler in high school, showcasing her determination and resilience both in and out of the clinic.
Her journey into veterinary medicine began with her childhood dog, who suffered from seizures. Caring for her beloved pet sparked a lifelong interest in veterinary care and solidified her passion for ensuring the health and safety of every animal she works with. Mia’s main goal is to protect and support the well-being of your best friend.
